Drew Keeling

Drew Keeling grew up in San Diego County, California, near one of the most heavily-traversed international border crossings of all time (Tijuana-San Ysidro). He earned a BA in Economics from Stanford University, an MBA from Wharton, and a PhD in History from the University of California, Berkeley, and has taught Economics, Business and History at universities in California, Pennsylvania, and Switzerland. As a historian interested in the processes of mass migration, he has specialized in examining relocation across North Atlantic region during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, and made this the focus of numerous articles. The Business of Transatlantic Migration between Europe and the United States, 1900-1914 is his first book.
